For over 8 years, the Făgăraș Country Community Foundation has been close to civic initiatives and non-governmental organizations in the area by providing funding, grants, and scholarships. This year, we are pleased to bring in the region a program that supports civil society to become more active, increase its capacity, access funds, conclude partnerships, and carry out projects with a regional impact.

ABOUT CIVIL SOCIETY IN ȚARA FĂGĂRAȘULUI

Non-governmental organizations allow people who care about their community to actively contribute to the life of their community. Whether we are talking about a better education, a better health system, a more developed business environment, or support for people who face social challenges, civil society is the way for all of us to build the communities we want in the Făgăraș Country. That is why the project for developing the capacity of NGOs in the Făgăraș Country aims to start with an analysis of the civil society in the area.

Let's draw together the map of the civil society in Făgăraș!

The project dedicated to Developing the capacity of NGOs in the Făgăraș Country has entered the research phase. Our first objective is to generate a map of the civil society in the region. How many active organizations do we have in the area, in what fields do they operate, what are their interests, areas of expertise, and needs, what challenges do they face, what would they need to function better - these are just some of the questions we try answer in the research stage.

We are therefore launching the questionnaire addressed to the civil society in Făgăraș County.

We invite you to complete (it does not take more than 25-30 minutes to complete it) and distribute the questionnaire below. It is a challenge and at the same time an opportunity for you to be visible on this map.
